While she enjoys all facets of dentistry, she has a special interest in crown and bridge, cosmetic and implant dentistry and appreciates the significant role that a smile plays in achieving a perfectly balanced look for each patient. Her passion for replacing missing teeth saw her awarded a post-graduate diploma mastering in dental implants. Dr Pip is also an experienced provider of Invisalign and clear aligners, and advanced tooth whitening techniques. Since establishing Corinda Dental Centre, Dr Pip has become known by our patients for her caring and gentle nature that ensures a pleasant dental experience. Since then, he has built a diverse and accomplished career in dentistry, gaining extensive experience in both private practice and as a Specialist Officer in the New Zealand Defence Force. His time in the military helped sharpen his clinical skills and develop a calm, methodical approach to patient care. Dr Park (aka JP) enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a particular passion for wisdom teeth and complex tooth extractions. He is highly skilled in surgical procedures and frequently performs extractions in collaboration with experienced IV sedation specialists, ensuring patients receive safe and comfortable care. Since moving his family to sunny Queensland, JP has been most enjoying an active and adventurous lifestyle. Originally from Brisbane, he completed his dental training at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Dr. Akka is passionate about relieving patient anxiety in the dental chair and helping patients feel confident in their oral health. He understands that visiting the dentist can be challenging, and his gentle, caring approach ensures a comfortable and pain-free experience. His practice philosophy centres around patient involvement and education in decision-making, which he believes is key to long-term dental success. Dr. Akka has a special interest in dental implants, smile makeovers, full mouth rehabilitations, and restoring worn or broken-down teeth with crown and bridge work. He is also a qualified Invisalign provider. This decision has not come easily, as Dr Ball has always felt a deep connection to his patients, many of whom he has cared for across generations. While we are saddened by his departure, we are also incredibly grateful for the trust and loyalty you have shown Dr Ball over the years. He has asked us to pass on his sincerest thanks to each of you — it has been one of his life’s greatest privileges to serve this community.
